Stereolithography High Speed SLA 3D Printing
Overview of SLA 3D Printing
The revolutionary Triple Threat: Unparalleled print resolution, a diverse portfolio of engineering plastics, rapid and affordable production.
Critical Stats
Build bed volume: 10.8″ x 6.3″ x 15.7″ (XYZ)
Build Speed: Up to 4” per hour
Max Resolution: 4K (3840 x 2160)
Layer Thickness: 100um
SLA produces high-resolution 3D printed plastic parts in relatively large volumes by selectively curing a light-sensitive photopolymer in a tank. It is a great solution for quickly creating plastic parts with the finest features and smoothest surface finish. High-speed SLA, as the name implies, has the added advantage of being extremely fast – able to print 15” tall builds in only a few hours.
SLA offers one of the widest selections of materials of any 3D printing technology: translucent acrylics, ABS and polypropylene-like mechanical properties and medical grade materials.
No longer just for modeling anymore the available surface finish, production speeds and material properties are allowing RapidMade customers to phase out injection molds altogether for small part manufacturing.
